About the Mikvah

The Southgate Mikvah is situated at the rear of Cockfosters and N.Southgate Synagogue with discreet access.

Inside, you’ll find two bathrooms and one shower room, all leading to the Mikvah pool. The style is modern and elegant and has been designed to meet every need of the modern woman.

Ladies are not required to bring anything with them. Everything is provided from towels to cotton buds, from make up remover to shampoo. We provide top quality products to ensure that every lady enjoys a luxury experience. All new clients will receive a a complimentary free gift.

Equipped with filtration and water purification systems, the Mikvah waters are approximately chest high and are kept at a comfortable temperature. Our friendly and experienced Mikvah attendant will ensure that you perform the mitzvah of Tahara correctly and she will endeavour to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We cater for all needs and offer complete confidentiality, and any Halachic issues are referred to a panel of Dayanim.

The mikvah is constantly maintained to a very high standard, especially during the current pandemic.
